Everything you need to know about joining Lagos SWUG and getting started with us.
Who can join Lagos SWUG?
Anyone interested in engineering and design can join. Students, professionals, educators, and innovators are all welcome. You don’t need prior SOLIDWORKS experience to start learning with us.
How much does membership cost?
Lagos SWUG is a non-profit community. Membership is free. Even specialized bootcamps and certification programs fees have been covered with materials and instruction, also basic membership and many workshops are open to everyone.
What happens at the speed modelling competition?
Each month, members compete in timed SOLIDWORKS modelling challenges. You’re judged on accuracy, design intent, and efficiency. Winners earn points toward monthly and yearly leaderboards, gaining recognition and visibility in the community.
Can I prepare for SOLIDWORKS certifications?
Yes. We offer bootcamps for CSWA, CSWP, and CSWE certifications. Our programs combine hands-on training with mentorship to help you pass exams and build real expertise in SOLIDWORKS.
How do I stay updated on events?
